WHAT IS POWER HOUR?
Power Hour is a uniquely-designed preschool program for children AND their caregivers.
During each Power Hour session, children will explore core learning concepts in mathematics, literacy, fine motor development, science, and social studies. These learning concepts are experienced through music, crafts, and play.
What gives Power Hour its power? The foundation for each session is the Bible. Children learn that they are dearly loved by Jesus who washed their sins away!
WHO: Parents and preschool aged children (2-5 years). Younger siblings are welcome to join us!
WHEN: Power Hour is offered as a 12-week semester. Classes meet for around an hour and a half once a week.
WHERE: Atonement Lutheran Church
COST: We have two options for registering for classes. You can sign up for each semester, or save 25% and sign up for the whole year.
$120 per child per semester. $180 for the the full 2024-2025 school year. Tuition must be paid in full, in advance.
Please note: Infants/toddler siblings under age 2 are welcome to come along at no cost, but will not have materials prepared for them and will need to remain with their parent for Bible Study/Free Play time.
REGISTRATION: Advanced registration is required.
Power Hour is offered for 12 weeks on Fridays at 10am.
If you are interested Power Hour Classes but would prefer Thursdays we will create a waitlist. Please fill out the form below. If we have 5-7 students interested, we will open up a Thursday class. If you have multiple children to bring to class, each child should be enrolled/form filled out separately.
POWER FOR PARENTING
Power for Parenting classes will explore insightful parenting tips from God's Word. The last 30 minutes of class, caregivers will explore more deeply the Bible Lesson from the day and enjoy time to get to know the other caregivers in a separate room while, students enjoy supervised free play activities in the classroom with teachers.
Power for Parenting is included in your Power Hour registration. During the class, your child will enjoy supervised play activities.
Infants/toddler siblings under age 2 will remain with caregivers during Bible Study/Free Play time.
